Heath Players' Radio Show
After Henry by Simon Brett
Steptoe & Son by Ray Galton & Alan Simpson
Exciting news! We hope to produce a "Radio Show" in November.
You may remember our successful production of "Hancock's Half Hour" and "Claire in the Community" in 2015. This time we hope to perform an episode of "After Henry" and Steptoe & Son".
We're still planning the logistics to ensure we can comply with the Covid-19 legislation but we will be holding a read through and auditions at 8pm this Tuesday 13 October in the Institute.
We will be limited to 14 people all socially distanced so please get in touch to book a place if you'd like to take part. If you're interested in taking part but can't make the date plese let us know.
All attendees should bring a mask to the reading. I will send electronic copies of the script.
We will advise performance dates and details of how to book tickets in due course.
Bart Sheekey R.I.P.
We heard recently that Bart Sheekey has passed away. Bart was a lovely person who performed in several pantomimes in the 80s. He remained a regular supporter of the Players, attending most of our recent shows. Our thoughts and best wishes are sent to Margaret and his family.
Photo shows Bart as the Tin Man, with Eric Collins (Cowardly Lion), Barry Walsh (Scarecrow) and Sue Gullen (Dorothy) in the Wizard of Oz from 1984.
