Our first 'Autumn' production for a few years will take place later this year. Steve Foster will be in the director's chair for a performance of a couple of classic radio scripts. First up is an episode from the first series of the classic Galton & Simpson penned 'Hancock's Half Hour'. The original featured the regular cast of Hancock, James, Williams & Kerr along with Moira Lister. Steve has assembled a cast of Heath favourites who will roll back the years with the trials and tribulations of 'the lad' as he tries to find a wife in order to obtain gainful employment. This will be followed by the first episode of Series 5 of 'Clare in the Community' by Harry Venning and David Ramsden. This critically acclaimed adaptation of the Guardian's weekly strip included in the original cast Sally Phillips, Liza Tarbuck and Nina Conti and this particular episode introduced the character of Nali, Clare's Eastern European nanny. There will be a few new faces in the cast as we tell the tale of Clare's attempts to save the neighbourhood drop in centre. Keep tuned for further news and ticket details.
